Call for National Unity

No matter what political differences I may have had with the Prime Minister, this is not a time for political rhetoric to score cheap political points; there must be no room for blaming of our Security Forces, or the Government of the day for the high rise in Crime that we are presently experiencing. In fact, it is a crisis that every single citizen, all stakeholders and civil society must join with the Government and Police to fight this scourge against the high rise of crime.
As the only elected Independent Parliamentary Representative in the House of Representatives, I want to call for National Unity and to ask for all hands to be on board helping to steer the wheels in the fight against crime., and safeguarding the Constitutional rights of our people to live in lrace without fear.I want to take this opportunity to sincerely express my congratulations to the Honorable Prime Minister for his extraordinary firm position on this issue. His speech earlier this evening demonstrates real leadership , especially in a time of crisis.
I agree with every thing he said, and deeply appreciate as a Patriotic citizen and Parliamentary Representative the no nonsense stance and zero tolerance for crime that the Prime Minister has taken in order to protect all of our citizens and residents in our beloved nation. Kudos to you PM.
